Thames Valley Police is the largest non-metropolitan police force in England and Wales. We police the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, and serve a diverse population of more than two million, plus six million visitors.
As an employee of Thames Valley Police, one of the largest employers in the region, you will feel a strong sense of pride in working to safeguard the communities we serve. You will work closely alongside motivated and inspiring colleagues, in a challenging and ever-changing environment. Alongside this, you will be given the opportunities and support needed to achieve your goals.
Thames Valley Police offer a range of apprenticeship opportunities, in various departments such as People Services (formally known as Human Resources), Corporate Communications (Public Relations and Digital Communications), Finance, Vehicle Maintenance and ICT. The Police Officer Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) is due to be launched later this year. This route will enable entrants to receive practical on-the-job learning alongside academic theory and achieve a degree while earning a competitive salary. It will be a three year apprenticeship open to those aged between 18 and 55.
We are committed to supporting all staff and eliminating discrimination regardless of your age, disability, gender, race, religion, belief or sexual orientation.
