Siemens Rail Systems provides comprehensive expertise and technology in the full range of rail vehicles – from heavy rail to metros and from trams to light-rail vehicles. They employ over 750 people in rolling stock and maintenance alone and maintain over 370 Siemens passenger trains which cover over 60 million miles a year.
The business maintains the trains on behalf of their customers, which include South West Trains, First TransPennine Express, Heathrow Express, Greater Anglia, Northern Rail, London Midland and ScotRail.
The highly skilled teams are based at some of the most advanced depots in the UK and at customer owned facilities. They carry out maintenance 24 hours a day for 365 days of the year, even open on Christmas Day.
We offer a variety of apprenticeship schemes in traction and rolling stock, and are proud to be delivering the brand new apprenticeship standard in 2016. Working with NTAR, apprentices coming into Siemens Rail Systems have access to the newest technological advances for training in the rail industry to date. Please apply to our apprenticeship schemes through our website.
