11.00-11.45What is available at Central Manchester University Hospital, there are more available than just Doctor and Nurse jobs!Greater Manchester NHS Careers HubAn opportunity for young people to come and speak to the Central Manchester University Hospital Apprenticeship Team to find out what opportunities are available at Central Manchester, to get a feeling of the variety of careers offered, how they can find out about what vacancies are available, how to find them and how to apply for them.  What to do and what not to do when applying for jobs and what the process is once they have applied to being appointed.  There is the chance to find out what an apprenticeship programme involves at Central Manchester and a chance to meet one of Central Manchester’s current apprentices to find out what their experience has been of our programmes.”
12.00-12.45Changing the perception of a Digital IT apprenticeJoshua Uwadiae (Apprenticeship Ambassador) - BCS The Chartered Institute for IT Joshua Uwadiae, a former school dropout who salvaged his career through a life changing technology apprenticeship. He now runs his own technology start-up called WeGym. Joshua has spent the last three years championing apprenticeships on a global scale and has received several awards for his work. He believes apprenticeships are truly limitless and is an amazing opportunity to kickstart your career.
13.00-13.45Social Media AwarenessThe Skills CompanyHow the way we portray ourselves on social media can be viewed by potential employers. Students will be encouraged to think about how their publicly viewable social media accounts reflect on them in a professional way.

16.15-17.00Be A Better You - Army ApprenticeshipsArmyThe Army is the largest apprenticeship provider in the country, with all new soldiers taking part and over 8,000 completing their apprenticeships each year. Come along and take part in an interactive demonstration that will highlight some of the engineering apprenticeships offered within the Army.

The Complete Apprenticeship Programme from Mercedes-BenzMercedes-BenzAre you interested in a career with a leading motor manufacturer?  Come along to find out what life as an Apprentice with Mercedes-Benz would be like, as well as getting some tips and tricks for writing a good application and interviewing well.

13.50-14.15Introduction to KPMG and School Leaver ProgrammesKPMGKPMG in the UK has 22 offices and is part of a global network of member firms offering Audit, Tax and Advisory services. We offer two different programmes for school leavers across our offices. This session will introduce the programmes, give you hints and tops on the recruitment process and give you an understanding of the work you could be doing as a KPMG School leaver.
