Ever considered where a career in insurance or financial planning could take you? Join us for this seminar where we will be dispelling some of the myths around insurance and financial planning and showing you how the sky is the limit when it comes to a career within our profession. In the seminar, we will also be exploring the day in the life of an apprentice.

Fear of failure? How to overcome your fears and own your future.
In this inspiring session we hear the moving, personal story of Jamala Osman- who kickstarted her career as a Barclays apprentice and has become an influential role model to thousands of young people. She talks about overcoming hurdles, the fear of failure and how you can take control these negative thoughts and turn them to positive action. Jamala is a Fledglink ambassador; supporting and mentoring you through the Fledglink app, to help increase your confidence, self-belief and raise your aspirations in order to reach your potential.

A guide to Degree Apprenticeships
There’s now more than one way to get a degree - with a degree apprenticeship, you can earn while you learn, get experience and graduate with a full university degree. This session will explain the differences between degrees and degree apprenticeships, and how to identify which path is right for you.

Hear from one of Pearson College London’s very own Degree Apprentices who will be there to answer any questions you have about this alternative but exciting route into Higher Education.

Life as a degree apprentice at Schneider Electric
I will be doing an overview of Schneider electrics apprentice programme, and I will then be sharing my experience from doing a-levels to then joining a degree apprenticeship programme with a global leader in energy management.
