12.00-12.30Apprenticeships – Thames Valley Police
Thames Valley PoliceThames Valley Police is the largest non-metropolitan police force in England and Wales and covers the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. As an employee of Thames Valley Police, one of the largest employers in the region, you will feel a strong sense of pride in working to safeguard the communities we serve. During this seminar, we will discuss the large range of apprenticeship opportunities available within the organisation, in various departments such as People Services (formally known as Human Resources), Corporate Communications (Public Relations and Digital Communications), Finance, Vehicle Maintenance and ICT. The Police Officer Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) is due to be launched later this year. This route will enable entrants to receive practical on-the-job learning alongside academic theory and achieve a degree while earning a competitive salary. It will be a three year apprenticeship open to those aged between 18 and 55. This seminar will also be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Come and join us at 12:00 – 12:30.
